Fitness is 80% diet 20% exercise, in other words “you can’t out work a poor diet”. At FSU we understand that these two go hand in hand. Meal planning can be tricky in the beginning and we are here to help! All of our coaches have a solid understanding of the Crossfit prescription diet and are available for support and advice. The FSU nutrition standpoint is simple:
Base your diet on garden vegetables (especially greens), lean meats, nuts, and seeds. Stay hydrated by drinking as much water as you can stand.
That’s about as simple as we can get. Many have observed that keeping your grocery cart to the perimeter aisles is the best way to avoid the bad stuff in the center aisles that will negatively impact your health. Food is perishable. Anything with a shelf life longer than your credit card expiration date is suspect. By following these simple guidelines you will benefit from nearly all that can be achieved with a well-rounded nutrition plan.
